The iMac, Apple's own desktop line, first introduced in 1998 makes the users workplace more of a destination. All the technology that goes behind this little "screen" really gives users a positive impression. So what is it about this "screen" that seems to amaze a lot of people. Well, first of all, its one whole screen, so no need for that huge tower and it's space saving. Because it's only based on the screen itself, the user does not waste additional space (although connecting additional items to it may require some space). Next, the design. Now, Apple have been renowned for exquisite designs on their products. The iMac is just that. The back has a 'glossy' feeling to it, making it a dream to carry. The Apple logos on the back and the front are glossy. Third, it runs the Mac OS 10 operating system, or simply known as "The world's most advanced operating system". Mac OS 10 is what makes the iMac a dream, a destination. Because both the hardware and software is made directly by Apple, you know the value you're getting for your money.
And last but not least, it's environmental friendly. In a current situation like this, one just cannot afford to ruin the environment more. Apple builds every iMac unit with the environment in mind. Apple always have a checklist handy to make sure each iMac is finished to their expectations. And all the material that goes towards the iMac are recyclable so after the products useful life, it can be made into another product.
